Yes. Upon request, I can provide a detailed receipt (often called a "superbill") that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.

How long are appointments?

Your initial evaluation is approximately 75 minutes. Follow-up visits are 60 minutes, also scheduled one-on-one, allowing plenty of time for hands-on treatment, movement assessment, exercise instruction, and answering your questions.

Will I see the same Physiotherapist every visit?

Yes. Every appointment is with me. You'll never be passed between multiple providers, aides, or technicians. This consistency allows me to better understand your progress and adjust your treatment plan as you improve.

In most cases, no. Ohio allows direct access to physiotherapy, meaning you can schedule an evaluation without first seeing your physician. If your condition requires additional medical evaluation, I'll help guide you to the appropriate healthcare provider.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first appointment begins with a comprehensive evaluation to understand your history, goals, movement patterns, strength, mobility, and the underlying cause of your symptoms. From there, we'll begin treatment and develop a personalized plan to help you recover as efficiently as possible.

What should I wear?

When appropriate, dry needling may be incorporated into your treatment plan to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance recovery. It is always combined with a comprehensive treatment approach that includes manual therapy, movement assessment, and individualized exercise.

Absolutely. I enjoy working with athletes of all ages and abilities, including CrossFit athletes, weightlifters, overhead athletes, weekend warriors, and youth athletes. My goal is not only to help you recover from injury but also to optimize your movement and help reduce your risk of future injuries.

Can you help prevent injuries even if I'm not currently in pain?

Yes. Many active adults and athletes schedule visits to improve mobility, identify movement limitations, optimize performance, or reduce their risk of future injuries. Preventive care can often address small issues before they become larger problems that interfere with training or everyday life.

Can you treat Medicare or Medicaid patients?

Federal regulations limit when a cash-based physiotherapist can provide services to individuals covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
