WHAT SETS
ROOTS PHYSIO APART?
-
11+ Years of Clinical Experience
With more than a decade of experience treating orthopedic and sports-related conditions, I use evidence-based techniques to identify the root cause of your pain and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to your goals.
-
One-on-One Care, Every Visit
Every appointment is spent working directly with me—never passed off to an aide or technician. You'll receive my full attention and a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
-
Advanced Dry Needling Certification
I have completed advanced certification in dry needling, specialized training that many physiotherapists do not pursue. When appropriate, dry needling is integrated with manual therapy and exercise to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term recovery.
-
Personalized, Comprehensive Treatment
No two patients are the same. I combine hands-on manual therapy, movement analysis, corrective exercise, and patient education to address the underlying cause of your symptoms—not just provide temporary relief.
-
No Insurance Restrictions
As a cash-based practice, my treatment recommendations are based solely on what is best for your recovery—not insurance authorizations, visit limits, or reimbursement policies.
-
Transparent, Upfront Pricing
You'll always know exactly what your care will cost. There are no surprise bills, hidden fees, or confusing insurance statements.
-
Longer Appointments for Better Results
Longer one-on-one sessions allow time for a thorough evaluation, hands-on treatment, individualized exercise instruction, and meaningful conversations about your recovery.
-
Helping You Stay Active for Life
My philosophy is simple: Gain mobility. Then own mobility. My goal isn't just to help you feel better today—it's to give you the tools, confidence, and movement strategies to stay healthy and active long after your treatment ends.

My Story
As a Marysville native, I'm honored to serve the community that helped shape me. I discovered my passion for physiotherapy in high school by combining my interests in science and sports. After more than 11 years in practice, I founded Roots Physio to provide the kind of comprehensive, one-on-one care that puts patients—not insurance companies—at the center of every treatment plan.
Education + Advanced Training
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Olivet Nazarene University before completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Dayton. To provide the highest level of care, I've pursued advanced training beyond my doctoral education. I am a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) through Myopain Seminars, an advanced dry needling certification that allows me to safely treat a broader range of muscles throughout the body. I have also completed advanced training in spinal manipulation (commonly known as a spinal adjustment), providing another evidence-based treatment option for neck and back pain when appropriate.
My Philosophy
I believe lasting results come from treating the root cause—not just the symptoms. Every session is one-on-one and tailored to your goals, combining hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and patient education to help you move better, recover fully, and stay active doing what you love. My goal is not only to help you feel better today, but to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to stay healthy for years to come.
